Artio Global Investors is setting up an office in Sydney, The Australian reports. The new office will be managed by Ian Webber, who previously served as Australia co-head at AXA Rosenberg Investment Management.
The new establishment is the firm’s third non-U.S. office after Toronto and London and will help Artio boost distribution in Asia. The office will initially aim at global equity strategy, while also offering global high-yield.
