China’s FX Reserves Increase By $153B In Q2

China has reported an increase in its forex reserves.

China has reported an increase in its forex reserves, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Asian country disclosed an increase of $152.8 billion in its reserves in the second quarter, to $3.1975 trillion.

China reported an increase of $197 billion in the first quarter, adds Financial Times. The increase in the forex reserves was down from nearly $200 billion in both the first quarter and the last quarter of 2010.
