Citigroup is planning to hire more people from Asia, according to its global commodities head Stuart Staley.

Citigroup is planning to hire more people from Asia, according to its global commodities head Stuart Staley, Economic Times reports. The bank is facing difficulty in attracting staff in London due to high taxes and tougher regulation in Europe and the U.S. Citi is seeking to expand its commodities business after having to reduce its exposure to commodities in 2008. The bank has increased its headcount in Asia to 45 since the beginning of 2010.
