HCA Holdings is acquiring around a 40% stake of HCA-HealthONE from The Colorado Health Foundation. The hospital operator will pay a total of $1.45 billion for the acquisition.
The buyer plans to finance the acquisition through amounts available under its revolving credit facility. HCA-HealthONE is a joint venture between the charitable foundation and HCA.
