U.K. chipmaker CSR will acquire digital technology company Zoran for $484 million.

U.K. chipmaker CSR will acquire digital technology company Zoran for $484 million, Financial Times reports. The deal comprises $313 million in cash and the rest in CSR stock.

CSR will purchase Zoran at a reduced price, which is around 30% less than the amount it agreed to pay earlier. The firms had previously planned an all-share deal worth $679 million, adds Reuters.
