Writers Guild Foundation Names Chairwoman

The Writers Guild Foundation has appointed Barbara Corday as its president for two years.

The Writers Guild Foundation has appointed Barbara Corday as its president for two years, Hollywood Reporter reports. Corday, who will succeed Chris Brancato, joins from the USC School of Cinematic Arts where she worked for film and TV production as Chairwoman.

She has also formerly served as president of Columbia Pictures Television. The charitable corporation additionally named Holly Sloan as vice president of development, Elias Davis as treasurer, Ligiah Villalobos as secretary, Tom Schulman as executive vice president and Dan Petrie as vice president of programs.
