Fidelity Floats Oeic Version Of EM Fund

Fidelity has unveiled an onshore Oeic version of its $700 million Emerging Asia fund.

Fidelity has unveiled an onshore Oeic version of its $700 million Emerging Asia fund, Investment Week reports. The vehicle, which is managed by Teera Chanpongsang, will sit along with Fidelity’s existing range of onshore offerings.

The vehicle, which was rolled out in 2008 as a Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV, has a customized benchmark, with 33% in China, 33% in India and Pakistan, and 33% in ASEAN ex Singapore. It can also invest in regions, including Vietnam, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
