Ocers Ups BlackRock Mandate To $191M

The Orange County Retirement System has committed $10 million to hedge fund manager, BlackRock Alternative Advisors.

The Orange County Retirement System (Ocers) has committed $10 million to hedge fund manager, BlackRock Alternative Advisors, Professional Pensions reports. The move has brought the total allocation of the $8.7 billion system in BlackRock to around $191 million.

Previously, the retirement system had boosted its allocation to the firm by the same amount in March this year. Ocers is also seeking two new managers, one fund of hedge funds manager and the other for separate account absolute return.
