IL&FS Investment Managers is raising $300 million for Tara India Fund IV, Economic Times reports. The vehicle will offer capital to companies across sectors, with core sector targets being manufacturing, retail and logistics. The new vehicle, which will mature in 8-10 years, will have the same mandate as that of previously raised Tara India Funds. IL&FS, the private equity unit of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services, expects a return of 20- 25% from private equity investments.
