The Stock Exchange of Mauritius will list 10 Eurobonds, corporate debt and credit notes by the end of the year.

The Stock Exchange of Mauritius will list 10 Eurobonds, corporate debt and credit notes by the end of the year, Bloomberg reports. The debt instruments are aimed at banks, funds and asset managers.

The move comes as the exchange aims to move away from an equity-based, domestic exchange to a multiproduct, internationally oriented exchange. The Indian Ocean island nation’s bourse is the fourth- biggest in sub-Saharan Africa by market value and is operating at 20-25% of its capacity.
