Dhaka Bourse To Unveil e-Trading In July

The Dhaka Stock Exchange will launch electronic trading in the stock market in July to create a virtual marketplace for share transactions.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will launch electronic trading (e-trading) in the stock market in July to create a virtual marketplace for share transactions, The Daily Star reports. The move will allow investors to trade directly from any location after logging into the trading web server using secret passwords rather than placing buy or sell orders with traders.

Investors will also be able to see the financial statement of their portfolios at any time from anywhere. Currently, the DSE uses “TESA Trading Software (Client Part) MSA” system for share transaction electronically. It is now working on the MSA-Plus system for e-trading.
