Electronic trading specialist, David Ogg, has started an electronic forex trading service, Ogg Trading, The Wall Street Journal reports. The New York-based company will assist buy-side and sell-side institutional traders in the foreign-exchange markets.
Ogg Trading has appointed Michael Kahn as COO and head of sales, who has previously worked at State Street Global Markets. Pragma Securities will offer quantitative and algorithmic trading tools for the venture.
