A Templeton Emerging Markets Group fund has invested in Apar Industries, Business Standard reports. The Templeton Strategic Emerging Markets Fund III has offered $17.8 million to the Indian transformer oils and conductors manufacturer.
Templeton’s investment will fund the company’s ongoing capacity addition program and strengthen its working capital. The fund invests in listed as well as unlisted companies in emerging markets.
