The Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX) has appointed Gokul Patnaik as its non-executive chairman. He is currently an independent and public interest director on the board of the exchange. He is also on the board of trustees of the Prince of Wales’ Bhumi Vardaan Foundation and a member of the chief minister’s Advisory Committee on Agriculture.
He has worked as the president of the All India Food Processors’ Association, was a member of the National Council of Confederation of Indian Industries and the task force on agriculture of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
