Polish Depository, Slovenia Form Link

The Polish National Depository for Securities has formed a new direct operational link with the Slovenian market, allowing Slovenian companies to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The Polish National Depository for Securities (KDPW) has formed a new direct operational link with the Slovenian market, allowing Slovenian companies to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) will be the operator of the KDPW account in the Slovenian central securities depository, Centralna Klirinško Depotna Družba (KDD).

The new link, which will enable Slovenian companies to raise capital on the WSE, will also be used to allow the dual listing of Nova KBM Bank shares in Warsaw and Ljubljana, following its introduction on the WSE later in May 2011. At present, KDPW maintains operational connections with 17 foreign central securities depositories.
