Algebris Investments former COO, Maria Bianchini, has established a new consulting firm, Optionality Consulting, Bloomberg reports. The Singapore-based firm will provide services to global hedge funds that are setting up in Asia.
The firm will advise hedge funds on regulatory compliance and also serve as a sort of outsourced COO. Bianchini has also worked at Schulte, Roth and Zabel helping to implement the firm’s U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission registration program for hedge funds in 2005.
