CIBC Boosts FX, Fixed Income Teams

CIBC World Markets has enhanced its fixed-income and foreign exchange and commodity operations in Toronto with two new appointments.

CIBC World Markets has enhanced its fixed-income and foreign exchange and commodity operations in Toronto with two new appointments, The Wall Street Journal reports. The new members of investment-banking arm of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce are Paul Douglas and Osahon Omokhodion. Douglas will focus on growing the U.S. dollar debt trading business. He is joining CIBC from RBC Capital Markets, a unit of Royal Bank of Canada. Omokhodion, who joins the foreign exchange and commodity structuring team, was previously working with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London.
