BMO Crosses $2B In ETF Assets

Bank of Montreal has secured $2.07 billion in assets under management in its ETF business.

Bank of Montreal (BMO) has secured $2.07 billion in assets under management in its ETF business, The Wall Street Journal reports. BMO is targeting to capture about 10% of Canada’s $41.5 billion ETF market, adds Reuters.

The bank’s Covered Call Canadian Banks ETF, which offers exposure to a portfolio of Canadian banks while earning call option premiums, now has $77.9 million in assets. BMO currently offers 40 different ETFs.
