Hume Capital has acquired EPIC Investment Partners from Syndicate Asset Management.

Hume Capital has acquired EPIC Investment Partners from Syndicate Asset Management. The U.K. independent investment firm paid a total of £2.1 million for the acquisition. After the closure of the deal, Hume Capital will manage around £716.8 million of institutional, retail and hedge fund assets and have a team of some 15 investment professionals. The acquisition of the institutional fixed income asset management operation of Syndicate, which is pending for regulator approvals, includes three Dublin-domiciled unit trusts.
