Media company, Viacom, will sell senior notes worth about $500 million.

Media company, Viacom, will sell senior notes worth about $500 million. The 3.50% senior notes will mature on April 1, 2017 with a spread of 155 basis points, adds Reuters. The proceeds from the offering are expected to be used by the company to partly repay its existing debt. Deutsche Bank Securities, JP Morgan Securities and BNP Paribas Securities are the joint book running managers of the sale.
