Ex-Goldman Software Analyst Joins Nomura

Nomura Holdings has appointed Richard Sherlund as managing director and head of its U.S. technology equity research team.

Nomura Holdings has appointed Richard Sherlund as managing director and head of its U.S. technology equity research team. He is joining the investment bank from technology-oriented investment firm, Ketchem Creek Capital, where he was CEO and portfolio manager. Prior to founding New York-based Ketchem Creek, he was associated with Goldman Sachs as a software analyst. Sherlund left Goldman in 2007 to join hedge fund Galleon Group.
