Soros Fund Management ’s Quantum Strategic Partners and Albright Capital Management will acquire a controlling stake in APR Energy. The funds will invest around $250 million in the Florida-based power generation company. Soros is a new investor in the company, while Albright Capital Management was already a shareholder in APR Energy, adds Reuters. As part of the latest fund-raising deal, existing shareholder Levant Capital Ltd, which is based in Dubai, has agreed to exit.
