KPN Starts €1B Share Buyback

Dutch telecom company, Royal KPN, has begun its €1 billion share buyback program.

Dutch telecom company, Royal KPN, has begun its €1 billion share buyback program. The program is expected to be completed by the end of 2011. The company has appointed an intermediary to buy back KPN shares in the open market on KPN’s behalf, allowing the execution of share repurchases during closed periods. The program will be carried out within the mandate as given by KPN’s annual general meeting on April 13, 2010.
