The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will amend its financial disclosures in order to assign a higher valuation to its derivatives unit, NYSE Liffe, Bloomberg reports. NYSE’s current valuation does not give the stock appropriate credit for the Liffe derivatives business.

The exchange plans to divide its revenue report into three business segments - derivatives, technology, and stock trading and listings. The new system will combine stock trading with listings and provide more clarity on how much derivatives contribute to operating income.
