Export-Import Bank of Thailand announced plans to raise THB2 billion, by way of bonds issuance.

Export-Import Bank of Thailand announced plans to raise THB2 billion, by way of bonds issuance. EXIM bank is issuing the bonds to raise funds for a loan for the Nam Ngum 2 hydropower project in Laos. Major shareholders of the hydropower project are Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Plc, Ch Karnchang and Laotian government. EXIM bank’s President Sataporn Jinachitra said that the final amount of the bonds issued and the maturity of the paper are yet to be finalized.
