In the wake of MiFID II, buy-side firms across the global investment community are reassessing their research payment decisions. For U.S. equities investors, current research budget sizes continue to trend closely with firm asset sizes, but this may not hold for the future as revealed in the 2018 All-America Research Team survey.

Nearly 3,900 investment professionals at 1,359 institutions managing an estimated $13 trillion in U.S. equities participated in Institutional Investor‘s 2018 All-America Research Team survey.
