Baltimore-based Bolton Partners has bought Stephen R Thomas Actuarial Associates. The company provides actuarial services to about 50 multiemployer and government plans in New York, New Jersey and New England.

Bolton is an employee benefits firm based in Maryland. It has three consulting divisions providing actuarial, health & welfare and investment consulting services to corporate, public sector, multiemployer plans and not-for-profit organizations.
