Nomura has enhanced its investment banking team in the U.S. with the appointment of Douglas Decker as managing director and head of convertible bond origination. He is joining the bank from Wells Fargo, where he was head of equity-linked origination.

In his new role, Decker will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and executing equity-linked solutions for Nomura's clients and will work closely with William Brett, managing director in the corporate equity derivatives group. Prior to Wells Fargo, Decker has also served at Barclays as its head of convertible origination for Europe and Asia.
