Diane Alfano has been a Member of the Board of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC since 2000 and was appointed Chairman of Institutional Investor on October 1st, 2010. Ms. Alfano serves as CEO of Institutional Investor’s Conference Division, where she began her career with the company in1984. In this capacity, she runs the division’s membership and sponsored conference business which produces more that 90 roundtables, forums and conferences a year globally for financial executives, asset managers, hedge fund managers and institutional investors. She also supervises new product development for the division and oversees 80 employees in New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore in every aspect of the business, including sales, programming, marketing and logistics. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Ms. Alfano was a Sales Account Executive with the Burroughs Corporation from 1979 to 1983. An alumna of the Loomis-Chaffee school, she graduated in 1978 from Tufts University in Boston with a B.A. in French and Political Science. From 1976-77, Ms. Alfano studied at La Sorbonne and the Institut d’Etudes des Sciences Politiques in Paris.

Scott Anderson is Managing Director of Institutional Investor Memberships and Forums, Europe and Middle East and has over 15 years’ experience in the UK and European pension fund investment arena. Previously, Scott was the Executive Director of the Institutional Investor Institute, a pan-European asset manager and pension fund investment institute. Scott was also previously a senior member of Newton Investment Management's institutional business development team, with responsibility for Northern Europe, including the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland. Scott has a breadth of experience across the corporate banking and media sectors and has worked in Sydney and New York as well as the UK.

Prior to joining Institutional Investor as Publisher in New York, Ms. Cavolina was Deputy Publisher of Euromoney magazine in London. Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC is one of Europe’s leading financial media companies. Euromoney magazine is the flagship title of the Group.

Robin Coffey is the Executive Director of the Institutional Investor Institute and the Alternative Investor Institute, private membership groups in the Conferences Department at Institutional Investor, Inc. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Robin was an Associate at McKinsey & Company. Previously, she was an Associate at JP Morgan Chase & Co. Robin received an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Colgate University.

Peter Horn is CEO of Institutional Investor, Asia Pacific and also has oversight of Institutional Investor’s subsidiary in Australia, the Centre for Investor Education (CIE). Prior to joining Institutional Investor Peter was the CEO of J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Australia. Peter has extensive experience in global investments across asset classes and as an adviser to asset owners. Peter is Chair of Investment Committee for Deaf Children Australia’s endowment, a Non-Executive Director of the Cambodian Rural Development Team, a NGO based in Phnom Penh, and co-founder of PTB Capital Advisers. Peter holds a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from Monash University.

Vicki King is the SVP of Thought Leadership and Custom Content for Institutional Investor. King is amongst the first in the industry to create branded content for 100’s of companies large and small, who are trying to engage their audiences at scale across paid, owned and earned media. Prior to joining Institutional Investor in 2016, Vicki was brought into Bloomberg to build and lead a premiere content studio: to sell, create, distribute and measure digital and native advertising sales programs. Prior to that Vicki was the head of the content studios and branded content sales at Time Inc. where she merged the Fortune and Money custom studios and sales with the Sports Illustrated and Time custom content department.

Randy Klein is Executive Director, Business Development for Institutional Investor’s Conference Division. Mr. Klein joined Institutional Investor in December 2014 and is responsible for Institutional Investor’s conference and events U.S. sales team, as well as U.S. operations of ManagerMatch, Institutional Investor’s capital introduction platform. He has over 25 years’ experience in institutional asset management having overseen operational risk at GM asset management and holding senior-level roles in operational risk and legal and compliance at Ivy Asset Management, Smith Barney, and Robeco USA (formerly Weiss, Peck & Greer). Before getting involved in asset management he spent 5 years as a senior prosecutor for the Kings County District Attorney’s office. Mr. Klein is a graduate of Penn State University and has a JD from Brooklyn Law School.

Lewis Knox is Executive Director of TraderForum and Financial Technology Forum, Institutional Investor's membership groups for buyside equity traders and investment management chief information officers, respectively. Lew is responsible for product content and event programming. Before joining II Memberships, he was assistant managing editor, technology and development at Institutional Investor magazine, where he was responsible for technology coverage and for developing new research features. Before taking over the technology beat, Lew was the research editor at the magazine, where he was responsible for the editorial components of II’s signature research rankings, including the All-America Research Team. He is on his second tour at II: from 1984 until 1997, he worked in various divisions of the company, including a 10-year stint in Newsletters, where he was part of the team that launched Global Money Management and Derivatives Week. Lew has an A.B. in romance languages and literatures from Princeton University

Adele Langie is Executive Director of Institutional Investor Forums' business in the United States. Based in New York, she has P&L responsibility of all the domestic private investor meetings with institutional investors (DB and DC), family offices, registered investment advisors and corporate financial executives. She also serves as Executive Director of Sales for the US Institute, a prestigious membership group for the Chairmen and CEOs of asset management firms. Before joining Institutional Investor, Adele was a Managing Director at RogersCasey, a global pension consulting firm. Prior to this, Adele was a Vice President at Greenwich Associates, a global market research and consulting firm. Adele has also has experience working for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, IBM Credit Corporation and Xerox Corporation.

Adele graduated with an M.B.A., with Honors, from the Harvard Business School, and a B.A. in Economics, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Smith College.

Kip McDaniel is is the Chief Content Officer & Group Editorial Director for Institutional Investor. He was formerly the founding editor of Chief Investment Officer.

In 2016, Kip was named Connectiv's McAllister Editorial Fellow for the Medill Magazine Project at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.

Before entering journalism, Kip rowed for the Canadian National Rowing Team from 2005 until 2008, where he won two bronze medals at the World Rowing Championships (2005 and 2007). 

Kip has government and land economy degrees from Harvard University (2004) and Cambridge University (2007), and originally hails from Vancouver Island, Canada. He now resides in New York City and Bow, New Hampshire.

Simon McLoughlin is Managing Director of II's Membership and Conference business in Europe. Based in London, he looks after a team of 35 and is responsible for business development. Simon has led the development of our online communities for institutional investors and investment managers, which now have more than 1300 members in 82 countries, controlling assets of $18 trillion USD. Prior to joining Euromoney Institutional Investor plc in 2006, he was Head of Corporate Development at LexisNexis Europe. Mr McLoughlin started his career as a journalist on The Sun in London. He attended Cambridge University and gained an MA (Hons) in Law and English Literature.

Alistair Morrison is the Global Managing Director of ManagerMatch, which is Institutional Investor’s capital introduction platform. Alistair has 30 years’ experience in institutional asset management, including senior roles in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with Macquarie Investment Management, Natixis Investment Management, Aviva Investors and Deutsche Asset Management. Alistair has a Bachelor of Laws degree and a MBA, both from University of Cape Town.

Barbara Munder is Senior Advisor for Institutional Investor. Previously, she was Executive Director, Institutional Investor Memberships with operational responsibility for two of the unit’s membership groups, and also the COO of wf360, a distance learning company. Prior to that she was a twenty-year veteran of The McGraw-Hill Companies where she was ultimately SVP for corporate-wide marketing and e-business initiatives. She served on the company’s investment committee, which oversees the company’s defined benefit ($900m) and defined contributions ($900m) plans and was Secretary for The McGraw-Hill Companies Board of Directors’ Corporate Governance Committee. Previously, she was Vice President and General Manager, Business Week Services with oversight for the media unit’s newsletter, conference and electronic products group.

Melissa Murray has been with the Conference Division at Institutional Investor since 1996. Currently she is an Executive Director, responsible for sales and client service for various memberships and conferences involving senior executives at asset management organizations. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Melissa was a Director at Christie’s, Inc. in the Special Events department. Melissa graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in art history. Her interests include squash, tennis, theater, cooking and travel.

Steven Olson is Managing Director of Institutional Investor Memberships and Forums. In this position, Steven is responsible for overseeing the Forums business, heads three memberships including the Defined Contribution Institute, the RIA Institute, and the Sub-Advisory Institute, and has responsibility for the company’s two online platforms serving single family offices and multi-family offices and wealth managers. He serves on Institutional Investor LLC’s Savings and Investment Plan Committee and is a member of the Selection Committee for the company’s Graduate Trainee Program as well as a manager and mentor with that Program.

Steven has been with the firm since 1999, except for 2 years (2008-2010) when he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer of an SEC-registered investment advisory firm serving ultra high net worth individuals.

Steven holds a post-graduate degree in political economy from Columbia University and a dual undergraduate degree in economics and political science from the University of Minnesota. He funded his graduate education by working at the Research Institute for International Change at Columbia University and by working as a research assistant to several leading academics there, including Zbigniew Brzezinski, James Chace, and Seweryn Bialer. During his undergraduate studies, Steven worked at Norwest Banks (now Wells Fargo) in back office operations. 

After his graduate work at Columbia University, Steven lived and worked in the Republic of Estonia shortly after the country became independent from the Soviet Union.

Lyn Perlmuth is executive director of the U.S. Institute and the Institutional Investor Legal Forum, private membership groups of Institutional Investor. She is also editorial director of II memberships in the U.S., overseeing programming for all U.S.-based memberships. Prior to taking the USI and editorial director roles, Lyn spent 10 years running the Fixed Income Forum, another II membership group, in addition to her Legal Forum role. She was instrumental in founding and building the Credit Roundtable, an education, advocacy and outreach group focused on the corporate bond market. A former journalist who spent more than 16 years in Institutional Investor's Newsletter division and wrote a corporate finance column for Institutional Investor magazine, Lyn rejoined II in 2006 after leading a publications and conferences business at Dow Jones focusing on bankruptcy, high-yield debt and private equity/venture capital. At II Newsletters Lyn began as a reporter and became executive editor, head of new product development and group publisher. Lyn has also consulted to the Economist Intelligence Unit, CFO Publishing and funds of hedge funds.

Will Rowlands-Rees is the Managing Director of Institutional Investor's Research business. He oversees all aspects of the global research department from surveys and data collection to monetizing all of the data behind Institutional Investor's 62+ annual rankings. Before joining Institutional Investor, Will spent 13 years at Thomson Reuters where he was most recently Global Head of Research. In this role he had accountability for the Sell and Buy Side Research business, which encompassed both the strategy and execution of the flagship Thomson Reuters Eikon platform to this audience, and the distribution of Research between the Buy and Sell side participants. Will is a graduate of the London School of Economics where he majored in Economics.

Steven Weiss joined Institutional Investor in 1999 as VP of Finance and as such is responsible for financial reporting and facilities. Steven also serves as head of real estate and contracts for the Euromoney US Group. Prior to joining II he served as Finance Director for Fremantle International, a producer and syndicator of TV programming throughout the world, and as Controller for Mark Goodson Productions, the famed game show creator.

Steven is a CPA and has a BS in Economics and an MBA in Public Accounting.

Kristin Zammit has been with Institutional Investor since 1997. Ms. Zammit is responsible for sales and client service for the Institutional Investor Institute, Hedge Fund Institutional Forum, and for sales of the majority of II Forums sponsorships around the globe. Kristin has spent her entire 28 year career in sales, helping a variety of companies in and outside the financial industry with a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives including marketing, advertising, trade show sales, sales planning, sales training, product launches, trade shows, and conferences. Kristin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Loomis-Chaffee School in Windsor, and subsequently graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA with a B.A. in Theatre and Psychology.
