From July 2009 to July 2011, he was Executive Editor, responsible for overseeing the editorial content of Institutional Investors Americas edition. Prior to that he was Editor of Institutional Investor's Alpha, a leading magazine dedicated to covering the hedge fund industry. During his two decades as a financial journalist, Michael has closely followed Wall Street, asset management, hedge funds and other alternative investments, derivatives and trading. A graduate of Dartmouth College, he has also worked at Worth and Bloomberg Markets magazines. |

Tom Buerkle has has spent more than 20 years in Europe covering finance, economics and politics for the magazine, and previously for the International Herald Tribune and Dow Jones. He writes frequently on banking, regulation and economic policymaking. |

Previously he was editor-in-chief of Financial Planning and executive editor of On Wall Street magazines. Loch Adamson is the London bureau chief of Institutional Investor. She joined the magazine seven years ago and has spent the past five years based in the U.K., primarily covering the asset management industry and pan-European regulatory issues for the magazine. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, Ms. Adamson spent five years writing for Worth magazine. She is currently on academic leave until June 1, having been named the 2011 Donald W. Reynolds Nieman Fellow in Business Journalism at Harvard University. |

Allen T. Cheng is the Asia bureau chief of Institutional Investor., and also Editor-in-chief of IIChina.com, Institutional Investors new online Chinese language service that caters to Chinese investors globally. Cheng has more than 24 years of journalism experience covering business, finance and politics in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, he was Bloomberg News' China political correspondent based in Beijing. Over the course of his career, he has worked for several Fortune 500 media companies, including Gannett Co, publisher of USA Today, and Time Warner Inc. He is the co-author of a major magazine package on global sovereign wealth funds, which won first place for magazine investigative journalism in the 2009 U.S. Society of Professional Journalists Deadline Club Awards. |

Barry J Whyte is the web team leader for Institutional Investor . Before coming to the U.S. he worked for three years as a web journalist for RTE.ie, the website of Irelands national broadcaster (Irelands version of the BBC, or NPR). After that he worked for three years for The Phoenix magazine, Irelands foremost politics and financial investigative magazine. He came to New York to study at Columbia University School of Journalism, where he earned a masters degree and was a fellow of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism. Jeffrey Kutler is editor-in-chief of Risk Professional magazine, the flagship publication of the Jersey City, New Jersey-based Global Association of Risk Professionals. He joined GARP in December 2008 from Institutional Investor, where he served as assistant managing editor, focusing primarily on banking and technology, from 2000 to 2005, and as U.S. editor in 2007-'08. Between those stints, Kutler was editor-in-chief of the weekly Securities Industry News.
