Kristopher (Kip) McDaniel is the chief content officer and group editorial director for Institutional Investor. He was formerly the founding editor of Chief Investment Officer magazine. In 2016, Kip was named the McAllister Editorial Fellow for the Medill Magazine Project at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Before launching CIO in 2009, Kip rowed for the Canadian National Rowing Team from 2005 until 2008, where he won two bronze medals at the World Rowing Championships (2005 and 2007). Kip has government and land economy degrees from Harvard University (2004) and Cambridge University (2007), and originally hails from Vancouver Island, Canada. He now resides in New York City and Bow, New Hampshire.
Kalina Ollinger manages the content creation process across all platforms (digital, mobile, print, and video). She works closely with the editors, writers, art team, and production staff in packaging content to maximize its impact across the various platforms. Prior to joining Institutional Investor in June 2013, Kalina worked at Inc. magazine as the assistant managing editor and later as a senior producer for its website. She began her magazine publishing career at Food & Wine and also worked at Glamour. Kalina has an M.S. in Publishing and a B.A. in Journalism from New York University. She currently lives in Brooklyn and tweets from @kalinamazur.

Amanda Cantrell edits the daily news and opinion articles for Institutional Investor and also serves as the deputy editor of Alpha, Institutional Investor's hedge fund publication. She has covered hedge funds for more than a decade, chronicling the industry's explosive growth from a cottage industry to one of the most widely followed segments of the capital markets. Amanda has appeared as a commentator on hedge funds on CNBC's Squawk Box, the Today Show, and ABC World News This Morning and has also contributed freelance articles to a variety of publications including the New York Times. She holds a master's degree in journalism from New York University, where she has also worked as an adjunct professor of journalism.

Allen T. Cheng is the Asia Bureau Chief of Institutional Investor and Editor of IIChina.com, Institutional Investor's Chinese language service that caters to Chinese investors globally. Cheng has more than 24 years of journalism experience covering business, finance and politics in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, he was Bloomberg News' China political correspondent based in Beijing. Over the course of his career, he has worked for several Fortune 500 media companies, including Gannett Co., publisher of USA Today, and Time Warner Inc. He is the co-author of a major magazine package on global sovereign wealth funds, which won first place for magazine investigative journalism in the 2009 U.S. Society of Professional Journalists Deadline Club Awards. Jeffrey Kutler is editor-in-chief of Risk Professional magazine, the flagship publication of the Jersey City, New Jerseybased Global Association of Risk Professionals. He joined GARP in December 2008 from Institutional Investor, where he served as assistant managing editor, focusing primarily on banking and technology, from 2000 to 2005, and as U.S. editor from 2007 to 2008. Between those stints, Kutler was editor-in-chief of the weekly Securities Industry News. Before 2000, he worked for about 20 years for the daily newspaper American Banker and some of its affiliates, rising to the position of executive editor. He is a contributor to Institutional Investor's technology and risk management coverage.

Based in Vancouver, Nick is a former editor-in-chief of Vancouver magazine and spent several years as articles editor of the Georgia Straight, Canada's largest weekly newspaper.
