Ezra Solomon

Co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management — the now-$24 billion multistrategy hedge fund firm JPMorgan Chase & Co. acquired in 2004 — Swieca formed Talpion in 2010 after leaving Highbridge; Solomon arrived the same year. The Queens, New York, native received his economics degree from Queens College and earned a master’s in international affairs, with a concentration in finance, from Columbia University. He started out in Citigroup’s investment bank as an analyst in the media and telecommunications group, then became a partner at $3 billion hedge fund firm JL Advisors in New York. His older brother is David Solomon, global co-head of capital introduction at Goldman Sachs Group.
